I am a Roblox developer focused on gameplay programming and the systems underneath it. Most of my work sits in the layer players never see directly: progression, economy, persistence and the client/server plumbing that keeps a live game stable while it scales.
I care about games that hold up after launch. That means data schemas you can migrate, network traffic you can afford, and UI that communicates state instead of decorating it. I work equally well as a sole creator and as a programmer inside an existing team.
In practice I ship in Luau against a strict architecture, profile before optimising, and treat live metrics as the actual definition of done.
What I actually do, grouped by the part of a game it belongs to.
Loops that stay interesting past the first ten minutes.
Strict Luau, clear boundaries, predictable state.
The persistent layer a live game is actually built on.
Interfaces that communicate state instead of decorating it.
Profile first, then fix the thing that is actually slow.
